How many sizes can a wedding dress be taken in without messing it up?

I’d like to go down a size or two before my wedding. I’ve already bought the dress. How much can it be taken in? It’s a sleeveless dress that’s fitted around the chest and waist area.

I think if you’ve already bought the dress then don’t lose too much – you must look beautiful in it as you are otherwise you wouldn’t have wanted to buy it so much.
